Mothering Herself marks the beginning of conscious self-care when women assume responsibility for their happiness and experience of life. In Chapter Seven, we see a 22 inch raku multi-breasted woman in the Stage called Maturing. Her arm forms a container at the bottom for her to keep the nurturing for herself a priority.
