Satya's Sculptures
We are all vessels that fill and empty. These one of a kind ceramic vessels were sculpted to hold many meanings. For most of the pieces I've used a Japanese firing process called Raku, in which the piece is taken out of the kiln red hot at the maximum temperture. It is an exciting, fiery ordeal where one cannot predict exactly what the results will look like when finished. I liken this process to a fulfilling personal growth journey.
