Holding Time

The woman's face in this 14 inch raku vessel is recessed as she enters the Mothering stage of transformation in Chapter Three of "Through the Fire".  She is pregnant with all her attachments which she desires to grow and hold on to. Women are generally nurturers by nature and she is focused on nurturing and serving the needs of others.
